"Believe what you want."

"Why are you the way you are? Why are you so rude?"

"That's just how I am."

"What happened in your past to make you this way?"

I shrug. "I don't know. I was in an accident and I can'r remember much of my past."

"What if you one day remember and you remember that you were a nice person?"

"Wouldn't really matter. I am who I am now and can't go back to who I was."

"Can't you change who you are?"

I looked at her. "It's not that simple. Once who are something for a long time it's hard to go back. And when you do people will treat you the same so what's the point?"

"Why don't you do it for yourself instead of other people?" Then I stood up and left to let him think.

I watched as she walked away.
