I was walking around when my stomach growled. It had been a long time since I last ate. I came to a store that had fruit outside in bins. I looked around to make sure no one was looking. When I thought no one was looking a took a few fruit and walked away.

"Trying to steal from me, are you?"

I looked behind me and saw the store owner. I tried to run, but he caught me by my clothes. "Not so fast. You ain't going anywhere."

I did the first thing that came to my mind. I stomped on the guys foot and made a run for it. As I was running I dropped the fruit. I hid in an ally way so the guy couldn't find me. I sighed. I dropped the food so now what am I going to do?

"Do they cost money? I don't have any money if it does."

" well soup kicthens dont cost a thing and if you needed money ask somebody okay stealig is really bad for your karma" he said as he got off his web and started srwaling on a wall in front of her" you know there's this sushi place down the corner who gives me free meals all the time im sure if i tell them your hanging wi th me the'll let you eat for free too".

"But I don't know anyone. And why would you do that for me? What would you want in return?" I was use to people helping me only to want something in return. I just wonder what he wants. I don't have much I can give.

" its called a gift " he said as he got uff the wall into a normal standing up stance " im doing it beacause you look like you havent eatean in a while and you could use some good food to fill that empty belly," he said as he patted her on the back " its what i do helping those in need ever heard of ....' he said as he took a breaty " with great power comes great responsibility"

"A gift? Um, thank you. And no, I've never heard that before."

" well my uncle use to say that alot anyways lets eat know ive been busting baddies all day and i didnt even get breakfast yet " they walked to the sushi bar and the waitress saw spiderman and immedntly found them a nice table and gave them menus " yeah i saved this place from hydroman one time and the owners have been bugging me for a free meal here since i guess its a honor thing, anyways what would you like to have"?

I looked at the menu and then at him. "Um...what would you suggest?" I didn't want to admit that I can't read. Just then I realized something. "I'm so sorry. I haven't told you my name yet. I'm Trista Denison."

"haha it okay" he chuckled " im just a friendly neighboorhood spiderman" he said " oh try the sushi" he said " i hear this place is famous for it "

"Um...ok then that's what I'll try. I've never had sushi before."

" its fun u'll like it" spiderman called the waitress over and told her two bring some ramen,chekienflavored and some sushi for his friend and the waitress nodded and left into the kicthen " now if only it was like this in every store"

"Yes, that would be nice." I looked down. "It has been hard to get food since my parents abandoned me."

" thats sad" he said looking out a window " my parents died when i was too young 2 rember and lived with my aunt and uncle until my uncle died and i feel responnsible for his death"

"That's good that you had family to live with. Why do you feel responsible? If you don't mind me asking. If you don't want to talk about it I understand."
