The Doctor set the machine up that ended up looking like a goelogical device for surveying volcanoes.

"Right. Nate, since youre good with technology, i need you to keep an eye on this graph. The blue is my brain waves, the Red, Katherine. Make sure they stay above 10." he pushed a needle into his wrist and another into Katherine's.

"Got it."

The Doctor layed on the bed and connected two different wires. He and Katherine were now both connected to the machine.

"Wish me luck."

"Luck."

The Doctor closed his eyes and almost immediately cried out as white hot pain attacked his body.

Suddenly, Katherine was stood infront of him. He set to work fixing her bloodied and dammaged body. He could feel the strength leaving his body, sapping his concentration and he could feel himself falling into unconsiousness.

"Doc, the blue line is getting low."

The Doctor gritted his teeth.

"Few...More... secon..ds." he was clearly getting weak and a look of concentration was forming ever stronger on his face.

"If... too... low, pull..." he gasped.

The line is getting toward the red. "Won't last much longer!"

The Doctor was getting ghostly pale and hardly breathing but the look of concentration was still etched on his face.

"Not... Y...et." he managed.

The line's about to break. It's just barely toeing the line...

The Doctor's knuckles were white with grasping the bed matress.

"1... More... min...ute." his wrist was bleeding with the pressure of him grasping the matress.

He was deathly pale and freezingly cold. His face was still contorted in pain.

The line is broken. "Too late, Doc. I have to take you off." I switch the machine off.

The Doctor colapsed on the bed and didn't move.

Time for plan B. I put my hands, one each, on their heads. I channel power from the astral plane into them. I feel Megan try to sneak in. I lock her in an astral cage. "Nice try bitch."
