Katherine smiled. "So why attack me? i'm not a natural threat." she paused thinking. "well... Not much of a natural threat." she turned away, pausing as the wind blew.

"Something's happened." Katherine looked back at Alex.

"I'm going to check on the others." She looked at the creature. "Keep an eye on him will you?" and she ran off.

Katherine arrived back in the TARDIS and looked around. It was silent.

"What the..." she wandered aimlessly for a while before heaeding to the med bay where she found the Doctor on the floor, grasping at his side.

"Doctor! your awake!" she helped him up. He was still cold and pale but atleast he was awake.

"Where is everyone?"

The Doctor gasped for breath.

"Electro... field..." he said breathlessly. "Knocked out the power source for the TARDIS. Nate went to investigate. Then gradually, people went to find out what had happened to them. Lilly's gone to take sydney somewhere safer." he grimaced and Katherine gripped him.

"Something's got them."

Katherine looked at the weak Time-Lord and pulled him closer.

"Alright. Hold on." and she helped him out of the medbay.

alex, i need your help. she sent him psycicly.

Come quickly

The Doctor gripped her arm and grimaced at her.

"Katherine, No-one's coming." he managed, painfully. "Something's got al-ex." he doubled up in pain.

She pulled his weakening body to her and hugged him tightly, desperately scanning her mind for ideas on how to help the hurt Time-Lord.

"There's nothing for it." she said quietly. "We'll have to get Martha."
