I go into the kitchen to make tea. I put my hand on the pot, heating the water.

Susan moves to the room she chose it has a separate bathroom , she lays down and looks up at the roof her mind wondering back.

"Ivan, you hungry?"

I shake my head.

walking past the kitchen " but i am" he says leaning against the frame.

"Are you a big, gorgeous Russian?"

he raised an eyebrow" nope, but i am the guy who just gave you a place to live" he said

"We'll be paying. Make it yourself." I wink.

moving from the frame he heads for the fridge and takes out a slice of cold pizza slipping it into the microwave he heats it up then moves for the table.

" Mmm , next day pizza " he said " quick and convenient"

"Pizza? Never had that."

he looked at her " more in the fridge , help your self" he said " your sister's quiet"

"She gets like that sometimes." I pull out the pizza, and take a bite. "WOAH! What is this??"

he smiled " that is the full flavor you only get in a next day pizza" he said moving to get a drink. " so who's on shop duty first?" he asked placing his cup in the sink.

"I do."

Adam shakes his head and chuckles " OK , but not touching , i need to sell this stuff not have it broke" he looked at the woman he had spoke to " I'm Adam by the way"
