I've made several trips to get all of the unconscious X-men into the med bay. The first, of course, was Joanna and her baby. I set the last, Logan, onto the last available bed.

Joanna woke with a start, she looked around and saw she was in the med bay her whole body ached. "Alex?"

I walk over, slowly. I'm still very drained. "Hey, Jo. How're you feeling?"

Joanna smiled "worse than i look " she said then looked around then back at Alex" Thanks" was all she said still smiling.

I grin in return, sitting. "No problem. What kind of brother would I be if I just sat idly by while my new sibling is being born?"

Joanna looked at where the baby lay asleep " you said a boy" she said "i heard you in the truck" janna smiled and rubbed the back of her neck. "he hasn't got a name yet" she said

"No. He wails up a storm, by the way. Good set of lungs."

Joanna smiled "if i remember when you were born you did too" she said and leaned against him.

I smile. "Must get it from you then." I crack my neck. "I don't think I've ever been this tired."

"i know what you mean, i feel like i sleep for a week" i look over at the baby "but not much luck of that" joanna smiled " and the others still need waking".

"They'll wake on their own, once the sedative works its way out of their systems. I'd give them another couple of hours."

"i supose you can go and get some sleep" she said "and thanks again" Joanna leaned over and hugged him, she was glad he had been there as there was nobody else she tusted more.

I catch her thoughts. "No one, eh? Not even Kurt?"

Joanna smiled " ok, he's the eception" she said "now i think you need rest" standing she felt her legs wobble under her "I'll stay and keep an eye on everyone"

I nod. "Good night, Jo. And good luck."
