I recoil slightly. "No. I don't. I'm sorry."

Joanna turned away her heart now braking that he didn't recognize her

A doctor walks in.

Doctor: "Excuse me, Mrs. Wagner?"

Joanna looks at him as she wipes the tears from her eyes.

" yes " she says

Doctor: "Your son has lost an incredible amount of blood. The fact that he's still alive is amazing, but we'd rather not push our luck. We'd like to do a transfusion between the two of you."

Joanna looked down at Alex and sighed,

" he might not know who i am but he's still my son, sure" she said looking back at the doctor.

The doctor sets everything up. Soon, the blood is flowing into my veins. I hear a pop. "What the hell?" Another pop. It's coming from my arm! Another pop. I look. The stitches in my elbow are popping out!

Joanna looked over she watched as each stitch popped.

" ok, he has his healing factor back, but what about his memory?" she thought as she laid there.

I feel the bones realign. "What... what is this?"

Joanna realizes he still didn't know what was happening.

" its your healing factor" she said " you took it from me after a fight in the danger room after we first met."

Danger room... it sounds familiar... The doctor takes the needle out... I'm only vaguely aware of it... my memories are churning... I fall to the floor, and clutch my head.

Quickly Joanna moves to his side and holds him.

" Alex, i wish i could help you like you helped me " she said her arms holding him close to her.

I lash out, knocking her away, and run. I've got to get out of here!

joanna falls back on to the floor.

"ALEX!!" she calls out "Wait" but it was too late.

Doctor: "Are you alright? I'm sorry, I should have warned you. Amnesiac patients can become overloaded with memory stimulation. If those memories are particularly powerful, they can lead to outbursts like this."
