I eyed him closely. "The name's Peter. I don't know who the hell you are, but frankly I could care less. You must a friend of Camille, yes?"

Camille crawled to see who knocked on the door. To her relief, she noticed Kale standing on the other side of the doorway.

I noticed Camille and grabbed the guy by his shirt. "What did you do to her?"

I laughed at his protective attitude over Camille. "You must be the man she speaks so highly of. Don't worry," I push him off me, "I didn't damage her too much." I smirked.

"You better not lay a finger on her or there will be hell to pay." I said in a deadly tone.

Camille got to her feet and made her way towards the door. "Kale," she said, her cheeks shining from tears.

I turned around to the sound of Camille's voice. "Get the hell away from the door, bitch," he spat. "Oh, and...Kale? I have already laid more than a finger on her," I said grinning.

"You bastard!" I bawled up my fist and sent a punch to his face.

I dodged his punch swiftly. "Temper, temper. I merely stated the actions I took while you weren't here." I said, laughing.

I walked over to Camille and grabbed her by the throat. I pulled her up to my level so Kale could see her clearly. "So this belongs to you?" I asked Kale.

"Camille is not a 'this' She's a person." I said, my temper rising. "Now let her go."

Camille struggled in his grip. "Let me go, you bastard," she said through clenched teeth.

I chuckled darkly and threw her back to the ground. "Aren't you sweet," I said to Kale. "Defending your treasure so carefully. She won't be around for much longer, asshole."

"No one is going to harm her. Not while I'm around." I went over next to Camille. "Are you ok?"

Camille was overwhelmed with relief. "I'm just glad you came," she said, looking up at him.

I smirked at her visible fear. "You two are adorable. Though I have to say, Kale, I'm extremely jealous; a body like hers..." I laughed darkly. "Until we meet again, Camille." I vanished from the room.
