Camille whirled around to face him. "Yeah, I grew up. I met people that are not merciless and I became friends with them."

I approached her cautiously. "Friends?" I repeated incredulously. "When did the famous Camille ever want friends?"

Camille clenched her jaw. "You don't know me," she said angrily. "You don't know what I'm like."

I smiled maliciously. "You're right, I don't," I said, beginning to caress her bare thigh. "But I would like to know you."

Camille's eyes glinted with fury. She shoved his hand away from her, burning it with her flame. "Don't touch me," she snapped. "I have somebody in my life now."

I pulled my hand back, feeling the scorching pain she caused. "Oh really? That's hardly fair; I didn't know how you would turn out when you were five. I should have claimed you as mine then, I suppose," I said, glowering at her. "Who is the lucky man?" I said in contempt.

"I'm smart enough to know that I shouldn't give you his name," she said in a low voice. "You should leave."

I smirked at her suggestion. "It seems you have forgotten why I came here in the first place," I said, placing my hands on either side of her small waist. "I have unfinished business to take care of." A wave of energy ran through my hands and into Camille. "And you not having your abilities can make it a lot easier."

Camille felt her power being blocked by Peter. A flicker of panic spread across her face as she tried to free herself from his grip. She threw her fist towards his face in desperation.

I caught her fist and kissed her hand lightly. "That wasn't too nice of you," I said, smirking. I threw her against a wall and held both of her wrists. "Perhaps if you had better manners, this would go more smoothly."

Camille winced when she felt her back hit the wall. "Bastard," she said under her breath. Camille tried to pull her wrists from out of his grasp. "You scare me, Peter. Isn't that what you want to here?"

I had a bad feeling about something so I went to see if Camille was ok; I knocked on the door.

Camille glanced at the door and then back at Peter in fear. "I should get it," she said in a whisper.

I scoffed at her suggestion. "Like hell you should." I threw her to the ground and walked towards the door. Once I opened the door, I came face to face with another man. "Do you need something?" I demanded.

"Who the hell are you?" I glared at him.
