Camille walked in Erik's large room. "Erik?" she asked cautiously.

Erik looked up and smiled when he saw Camille. "Yes, my dear?"

Camille walked over to him. "Erik, do you have a moment?"

Erik tilted his head slightly. "I do, but what would you like me to do with it? Use it to listen to you?" he asked, smirking.

Camille smiled weakly, nodding. "Erik, what would you say if I were to be with somebody romantically?"

Erik frowned. "Then I would have to tell you that I am truly disappointed in you," he said sternly. "It's that boy, Kale, isn't it?" he demanded.

Camille blinked. "Yes, it is. Why would you be disappointed?" she asked curiously.

Erik got up from behind his desk and started to advance towards Camille. "Because I have trained you since before you could walk, taught you to separate yourself from others so you wouldn't become attached to anybody. Now it seems that I have sacrificed everything for nothing! Have I taught you nothing, my dear?" His eyes were blazing.

Camille felt his anger rise beyond level. "Erik, this nothing you can control. I can't control it either," she said logically.

Erik's face was livid. "You selfish child! I taught you to stay away from that! I taught you to become powerful! Not to throw it all away and become this weak person! You are almost as bad as those humans!"

Camille shook her head violently. "No, I didn't. I didn't throw it all away!" she cried.

"Then what did you do then, Camille? What? This boy is nothing! He is nothing to you!" His voice was now echoing through the large room.

Camille shook her head. "He means something to me. I mean what I say," her voice was on the verge of trembling and she forced control over herself.

If Erik's face was livid before, there was no word to describe it now. He slapped her across the face and turned away from her. "Here is what I'm going to do with you, child. I'm going to make sure you don't go near that boy. If you do, I will kill him. If I ever so much as see you look at him, he dies. Do you understand me?!" he said sternly.

Camille's eyes widened. "No," she whispered, "you cannot do that! He has done nothing."
