I pushed him away from me, irritated. "There are some things in this world that shouldn't be known. But to sum it up, we are the people who clean up the mess you reckless mutants create," I said impatiently. "We are the ones who take out politicians who are gaining too much power and we are the ones responsible for many mutant disappearances. Isn't that right, Cami?" I said, looking at her.

"What gives you the right to mess with people's lives. They can do what they want. Who says you have to clean up their mess?"

Camille clutched at her head, feeling an abrupt pain. "The Company has a strange way of thinking," she said, contorting her face under the amount of pain.

I look at Camille with much worry. "When need to get you help."

I glanced at Camille with a smirk. "I do believe Cami over here is starting to feel the side effects," I said, approaching her swiftly. I grabbed a tight hold of Camille's throat. "Or we could speed things up a bit."

Camille felt his grip tighten around her throat. "You go to hell," she spat fiercely.

"You take your hands off her." I said in a deadly tone.

I shrugged. "If you insist," I said carelessly before pushing her towards Kale. "But she will die eventually, whether you like it or not." I then proceeded to disappear.

Camille was pushed into Kale roughly. "Sorry about that," she said to him breathlessly. "My damned head is throbbing," she moaned, grabbing at her head again.

"We need to do something. I don't want to see you die." I couldn't stand if she died. I didn't want to lose another person that I truly care about.

Camille cleared her throat. "Does your ability prevent poisoning of any sort?" she asked in a raspy voice.

"Mind control, combustion, force field." I mumbled to myself. "No, I don't think so. I would be useful it I did." I felt so useless right now and I was afraid of losing her.

Camille shrugged tiredly. "Perhaps it won't get worse. Maybe it isn't strong enough to do any real harm?" she said hopefully.

"Yeah maybe." I know it was serious and if I didn't do anything soon she would die.

I had been sitting and watching the whole time. "Poor Kale, you are goignt o lose someone you care about again." I laugh. "How does it feel to be completly useless?"
