Camille glanced at him. "You really should," she said, watching him twirl his knife. Camille propped herself on her elbows. "A knife? I didn't know you carried one around."

"I always had a knife I just never carried it on me before."

"You keep twirling your knife like that and you can get hurt."

Camille didn't even move to see who the voice belonged to. "Can I help you?" she asked bitterly.

I look over. "Oh it's you. I never did catch your name."

"No, I'm just walking around." Then I look at Kale. "That's because I didn't throw it."

Camille arched an eyebrow at the remark. "Catty," she muttered.

"Ha ha, you're such a comedian. So why don't you just keep walking?"

"And what if I don't want to? Isn't this what you people call a free country?"

Camille glared at her then looked back to Kale. "Well, I suppose this is what we get when we say we are bored, eh?" she said, inclining her head towards the girl.

I look at Camille. "Yes, I suppose it is." Then I look at the girl. "So we finally establish that you aren't from here. So where are you from?"

"My name is Ember and I am from another planet."

"Did I hear right? Did you say you came from another planet?"

Camille narrowed her eyes. "Another planet? May I ask how that is possible?"

"Your people can travel to the moon can't they? Or did I learn about that wrong? I came here on a ship."
